SILICON is a manufacturing company that produces metal studs and fasteners. Since its creation in 1982, they have become the international frontrunner in providing stainless steel anchoring systems. These anchoring systems are delivered to the petro-chemical, high oven and shipbuilding industries. The products are produced in a series of steps to fit the customer's need.

Job Description

Because of the continuously growing range of products we offer for anchoring systems, we need several welders to assist our production team.

What will you be doing?

• Operating a Press Brake, Guillotine and Piercing, machines. (Setting it up if necessary)
• Operating hand tools.
• Responsible for personal quality control and make adjustments as necessary.
• Cleaning and maintaining work area and equipment
• Operating within safety guidelines and any operating procedures.
• Completing necessary paper work.
• Reading, understanding and working from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring quality and productivity are maintained.

Job Prerequisites

Significant experience in working within a Metal manufacturing environment is essential and candidates must be able to read, understand and be able to work from drawings. For this job we are looking for a full-time job fulfillment for an indefinite amount of time. English speech and grammar must be at acceptable levels.

Any Machining and TIG Welding experience would be an advantage as occasional assistance is required in this area.
